Asia boasts some of the world’s fastest growing economies. In 2010, China moved past Japan to become the world’s second-largest economy, with an annual GDP of just under US$6 trillion. Only the US, whose aggregate output was around US$14.5 trillion in 2010, remains larger than China. Similarly, India moved past Spain to reach the ninth largest economy in the world. Expectations are that China and India will continue to register among the fastest GDP per capita growth rates in the world, but their low starting bases mean that convergence to developed market levels is still a long way off. Control and Flexibility
As a Sertus representative, you make your hours and your schedule. You are empowered to seek out and develop leads and can count on the Sertus infrastructure to support you with the administrative backing and knowledge transfer to make you successful. Some of our representatives work for us part time and others are working more than 40 hours a week. It is ultimately your decision.
We make it a point to pay our people well. In order to attract, retain and motivate employees, Sertus always seeks to offer fair compensation for any contribution to the long-term growth and profits of the firm. We encourage all employees to acquire a proprietary interest in our success. What is considered typical compensation in other companies, we consider atypical at Sertus. Our pay for performance approach fosters a true meritocracy, where our representatives earn close to 4% of sales for their efforts, compared to an industry average of around 2%. Paying our people above market is not optional; it is what we must do in order to hire and keep the best.
